How do you downgrade an Nspire?

Exactly like you upgrade it...

Not true. It blocks downgrades.

Strange... Sincerely, I've never had problems downgrading my nSpire without the maintenance menu either...

What message are you getting? on the computer, or calculator?

It may depend on the computer link software / calculator OS / calculator Boot2 versions...

Okay, I was wrong. I am able to downgrade. I was just taking hackspire's word for it, and never tried without deleting the OS first.

I have not had a chance to try it myself, but I seem to recall reading in some official NSpire document that said that you could not downgrade.

We all know how accurate TI's documentation of their products are :P

Hey, someone took my advice!!! 53 guests? Are you sure that those aren't a bunch of bots?
It's interesting to note why we ask why events occur, when really, we are really responsible for the responsibility of the actions of ourselves and others, in order to prevent the actions that may have a negative reaction for the action that occurred.

Every function has an equal and opposite malfunction.

Hey ExtendeD, have you been able to dump boot1 since you got asm running?

It's likely it resides at $00000000, since that's what the ARM program counter is supposed to initialize to.

There is just one problem with that actually working spencer...

There is no sound!!!!!

Okay, but seriously, if we are a group of TI calc fans, and we don't like the NSpire, why not create your own with everything you want? EG. color screen, usb communications, internet access, full IDE, hologram projector...

Ooooh. Now I'm motivated. ;-)
